Plaid Silk/ Poly Taffeta - Serpentine

A deadstock silk/poly taffeta in a dark green and ivory colourway. This narrow, lightweight fabric has been woven with twill stripes in a malachite green on both the warp and the weft, with highlights of citrus and grey plain weave stripes on an ivory base. A non-stretch, papery fabric with a stiff structure making ideal for special occasion pieces, loose-fitting shirts like the Sparrow and as a luxury lining for coats like the Poppy.
